(NYSE: UTX), and Tigerair Taiwan announced today selection of the Pratt & Whitney GTF engine to power an order of 15 A320neo aircraft, which includes a combination of new aircraft purchases from Airbus and leased aircraft from ICBC’s SPV, Sky High Leasing Company.

Its initial A320neo order was 37 aircraft but Tigerair converted two A320neo options to orders in 2015 as part of a deal with Airbus that included the cancellation of two A320ceo orders that were initially assigned to Tigerair Australia.
